May Day Picnic

Celebrate May Day with the Canberra Socialists. This is a great opportunity to meet other members of the party and chat about the power that workers have to challenge capitalism.
Our May Day celebration will be a relaxed, social picnic open to members and the public, giving us a chance to connect while reflecting on the history of the struggle for the 8-hour day and our commitment to the global working class as the force capable of abolishing capitalism. We will have a short introduction on the history of May Day but the main focus will be conversation, so bring your picnic blankets, food, and non-alcoholic drinks to keep it family-friendly. In the event of wet weather, we will re-locate to King O’Malleys pub to maintain the festivities.
