Socialist Contingent to Palm Sunday

For decades, Labor and the Liberals have presided over a barbaric refugee regime that has imprisoned people in offshore camps, turned boats away, and left thousands trapped in limbo. Their cruelty is deliberate. Pro-capitalist politicians try to divide the working class by blaming migrants for problems caused by big business, whether it’s the rising cost of living, our underfunded essential services, or the artificial shortage of housing.

We stand for solidarity, not scapegoating. Socialists say that refugees and migrants are welcome here. March with Canberra Socialists this Palm Sunday to demonstrate the growing appetite for radical left-wing politics that says there is no place for racism.
